FAQ

How much driving is there each day on the 6-day round-island tour?

1.5–3 hours on average, comfortably covered by 10 hours of daily charter. The route deliberately breaks up the long legs, so there is no day spent in the vehicle from morning to night.

Do the restaurants on the itinerary need reservations?

Some do — the century-old Taiwanese restaurant in Tainan is worth booking ahead. Accommodation, attraction tickets and activity fees, meals and personal expenses are not included; what the itinerary gives you is a recommendation list, so the choice of restaurant is yours, and your travel consultant can help with the booking.

Where do we stay on the six-day loop?

Along the route — Jiaoxi in Yilan, Hualien City and so on. Accommodation is not part of the vehicle fee, and we suggest booking hotels 1–3 months ahead, earlier still for the summer holidays and Lunar New Year.

What is the difference between the 6-day and 7-day round-island tours?

The 6-day is built around each region's signature food. The 7-day adds a day, gives you two nights in Hualien so you can go deeper into Taroko, and brings in Alishan. First-time visitors to Taiwan usually pick the 6-day.
