Overview
Day 1 is all Taipei: interactive exhibits at the National Palace Museum's Children's Gallery and a stroll through the Shilin Residence rose garden, then an afternoon in Shifen to release sky lanterns on the old street and walk to Shifen Waterfall. Day 2 heads into Yilan for craft workshops at the National Center for Traditional Arts, the Lanyang Museum and rainbow-candy DIY at the Yilan Toy Factory, finishing with sea views at Mr. Brown Coffee Castle in Toucheng.
