FAQ

What ages is this family itinerary suited to?

It is designed for families with children aged 3–12. The Children's Gallery at the National Palace Museum, the craft workshops at the National Center for Traditional Arts and the rainbow-candy DIY at the Yilan Toy Factory are all hands-on, and the pace is deliberately unhurried. Let us know in advance if you need a stroller or child seats.

What does the charter fee cover?

A private vehicle and local Taiwanese driver throughout, 10 hours of vehicle use per day, fuel, tolls and parking fees, plus the full protection of a licensed Class A travel agency. Accommodation, attraction tickets and activity fees, meals and personal expenses are not included (local restaurant recommendations are included, so you can dine as you like).

Do we stay in Yilan on the first night?

Yes. Night one is in Yilan, so day two starts straight at the National Center for Traditional Arts instead of an early-morning dash from Taipei. Your travel consultant can help book the hotel.

If the kids get tired, can we head back to the hotel early?

Of course. With 10 hours of vehicle use a day and your driver alongside you the whole time, you can cut a stop short, return to the hotel early or add a convenience-store run on the spot. That flexibility is exactly why families travel by charter.
