Day 1 in Taichung: ice cream at Miyahara, dinosaur and space exhibits at the science museum, then an early evening at Fengjia Night Market. Day 2 is a full day at Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village theme park with its cable car, followed by a Sun Moon Lake boat cruise (Shuishe → Xuanguang Temple → Ita Thao) and a stroll along the Xiangshan boardwalk. Day 3 heads up Alishan for the thousand-year-old giant tree trail and Sister Ponds, with a railway bento lunch and old-street wander in Fenqihu.
With 10 hours of charter per day, the family-friendly pace never feels rushed — theme park, lake cruise and forest all in one trip.

FAQ
Is three days too rushed for Taichung, Sun Moon Lake and Alishan?
Not at all. The driving is split into three stages: Taichung city on day one, Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village and Sun Moon Lake on day two, and Alishan only on day three. Each day's drive stays within comfortable limits — nothing is crammed into a single push.
Are tickets for Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village and the cable car included?
No. Accommodation, attraction tickets and activity fees, meals and personal expenses are not included (local restaurant recommendations are included, so you can dine as you like). Tickets for the culture village, the Sun Moon Lake cable car and the boat cruise are all bought on-site, and your driver drops you at the entrance.
Where do we stay over the three days?
Night one in Taichung, night two either at Sun Moon Lake or back in Taichung, depending on the pace you prefer. Accommodation is not part of the vehicle fee, but your travel consultant can help book it to your budget.
Will the kids get carsick on the way up to Alishan?
The mountain road has plenty of bends, so if your child is prone to motion sickness, keep the meal before the climb light, bring medication and let them sit up front — it is noticeably easier. Our drivers know the road well and take it smoothly.
