FAQ
Will two days be too tiring for older parents?
This route was built for them. Baojue Temple, the Taichung Confucius Temple and Wenwu Temple all avoid long flights of steps, the lake is covered by ropeway and ferry, and the amount of walking is deliberately kept low.
Can elders in wheelchairs or with limited mobility join?
Yes — most stops have level access. Tell us how mobile they are when you book, and your travel consultant will adjust the stops and the drop-off points, using barrier-free entrances where needed.
Do we buy the ropeway and ferry tickets ourselves?
Yes. Accommodation, attraction tickets and activity fees, meals and personal expenses are not included (local restaurant recommendations are included, so you can dine as you like). Sun Moon Lake Ropeway and boat tickets are bought on-site, and your driver drops you at the station.
Where do we stay on the overnight?
Night one is in Taichung. Accommodation is not part of the charter fee, but your travel consultant can help pick a hotel that suits your parents — elevators, accessible rooms and so on.
