Overview
Day 1 is a Matsu pilgrimage: Dajia Jenn Lann Temple (starting point of the great Matsu procession), Cihe Temple in Yuanli, then Nantian Temple and Baojue Temple in Taichung. Day 2 heads to Puli: the astonishing modern architecture of Chung Tai Chan Monastery and the elevator-served Lingyan Mountain Temple, then an afternoon at Sun Moon Lake's Wenwu Temple and a ferry to Xuanguang Temple.
