FAQ

Which temples do we visit in two days?

Dajia Jenn Lann Temple, Chung Tai Chan Monastery and Lingyan Mountain Temple, plus Wenwu Temple and Xuanguang Temple at Sun Moon Lake. The route follows the order of worship, so there is no doubling back.

Are there vegetarian restaurants?

Yes — vegetarian restaurant recommendations come with the whole route. Accommodation, attraction tickets and activity fees, meals and personal expenses are not included (vegetarian restaurant recommendations are included).

Can older family members manage the walking?

Most stops are gentle. Chung Tai Chan Monastery has barrier-free access, and an elevator takes you up at Lingyan Mountain Temple. Where you would rather save your legs, your driver can drop you at the nearer entrance.

Can you work around the Matsu procession or a particular ceremony date?

Yes. Tell your travel consultant which date and session you want to join, and we will adjust both the order of the itinerary and the departure times. Parking and hotels are tight during the procession, so arrange it early.
