At a Glance
Hotel Resonance Taipei, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, sits at No. 7, Linsen South Road in Zhongzheng District, about 100 m from MRT Shandao Temple Station, and Taipei Main Station is just one stop away on the Bannan Line. Fuhang Soy Milk is about 0.2 km away, Huashan 1914 Creative Park about 0.7 km and Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall about 1 km, so breakfast and the creative park are both within walking distance.
The hotel belongs to Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and its design draws on the history of the site: this was once a camphor tree farm, and camphor was used to make photographic film. That is why details linked to film and cinema are tucked into the rooms, the lobby and even the building's exterior.
Food and drink are handled by the ground-floor Starbucks, where breakfast is also served, and guests get 10% off most items. There is also BEING Spa and a 24-hour gym. It suits travelers who put transport first, arrive or leave Taipei by high-speed rail or TRA train, and spend their days out and about.

The hotel site was once a camphor tree farm, and camphor was one of the materials used to make photographic film. The hotel turns this history into film and cinema imagery throughout the lobby, the rooms and the exterior.
Even the corridor walls feature large light-and-shadow images, so guests who enjoy photography and design may want to linger in the public spaces.
