The outdoor palm-lined pool is ringed with coconut palms and has an adult pool, a children's pool, a warm-water jacuzzi and a 3-meter-deep diving pool. It is open 08:00–21:00, closed daily 12:00–13:30 for cleaning; the water is unheated, and the pool closes during thunderstorms or bad weather.
Children under 12 or under 130 cm tall must be accompanied in the water by an adult aged 20 or over, and diving masks and fins are not allowed in the pool.
02Hsiao Wan Beach
A private walkway to Hsiao Wan Beach
The hotel has a guests-only beach walkway leading to Hsiao Wan Beach. The Hsiao Wan Beach Service Center by the sand offers drinks and rinse-off facilities, and guests can borrow beach umbrellas and loungers for free along with sand toys; the beach volleyball court costs extra.
Service center hours change with the seasons, 08:00–17:00 in January and extended to 18:30 in July and August, and beach activities are suspended during thunderstorms or bad weather. From HSR Zuoying Station, the hotel shuttle takes about 2.5 hours, and there is only one run daily at 14:15. If you're on an early train or flight, a private charter can stop in Donggang, Fangliao or Checheng along the way and still reach the hotel in the afternoon. Kenting's sights are spread along both sides of the peninsula: Hengchun Old Town, Houbihu, Baisha, Longpan Park, Eluanbi and Jialeshui. A day is just right for a loop around the peninsula, with time to get back for the pool or the beach before evening. The parking lot is for hotel guests only; please check with the hotel whether it applies to charter vehicles.
